Soooo...........today we did ummmm not much at all. We were absolutely exhausted after yesterdays marathon day. We had the GPS watch going with us which told us by the end of the day we had done over 32km of walking and riding. (Brett -SIL did you see that...32kms!!)
The alarm went off this morning and was reset for another 1hr but we were both awake after 30 mins. We headed down to breakfast (eggs, bacon and fruit with some juice) and then returned to the room for a shower and bag packing.
We were picked up from the hotel at 10:30am to be taken to the airport to fly to LA. Our flight was running 30mins late and we were trying not to fall asleep at the airport, but our bums reminded us not to sit too long in one spot. Damn bike bum.
Once we arrived in LA we got the shuttle to the hotel and of course managed to be the last to get dropped off which meant we took almost 1.5 hrs to get tot the hotel. We checked in, dumped our bags and then had some random guy use his room card to open our door, whoops almost shared our room and someone would be left to spoon. Sorted out with front desk and now it is just Toot and I.
We went for a short wander to find some dinner and a quick look around as by this time it was after 6pm. We returned to the hotel via the local mini mart to pick up some cereal and milk for breakfast and some washing powder so we could use the hotel laundry to wash our stinky clothes!
Now here we are writing this so you can read it and have our clothes drying in front of the fan and thats about it.
Also now just trying to work out what's on the cards for tomorrow.......until then!
