39 hours and counting down........

So here we are again…after a long 18 months in the planning we are 2 days off embarking on continuing 30th birthday celebrations for Carrie.  It has been a crazy past 6 weeks for us both from weddings, mad hatter preparations and the party to go with them, baby showers, hens  party preparations, other birthday celebrations etc. Just to add to the chaos we’ve both been burning both ends of the candles and have both been sick a few times over the past few months which hasn’t been fun.

As we get closer to actually getting on the big jet plane things such as packing have become rather more urgent than the beginning of the month.  We currently have two suitcases placed on the landing with a pile of clothes, pile of shoes and various other crap waiting to be culled and crammed in said cases.

Of course the important things such as music for plane ride and car trips has been organised, hehe.  Think priorities might need to be checked before next trip Gordo!

Carrie has been to New York previously almost 10 years ago and is looking to rekindle her romance with the Big Apple!  Gordo can’t wait to go to the Big Apple and continues to stare at the large print of Brooklyn Bridge mounted above the TV in the lounge room and is counting down the days.

If any of our loved and trusted readers have been to the US, we are certainly taking tips from travellers on any good places to eat, shop, drink etc.
